About Antalya
Pergamum King Aktallos II. ordered his soldiers to discover the retreat of heaven on earth. Upon this command, the soldiers wandered around till they came to the place of Antalya and exclaimed "This is heaven". They founded the city of “Attalia", which today enables you to feel like you are in heaven. Because of the archaeological riches and natural beauties of the area, Antalya is known as the Turkish Riviera. The sun, sea, nature and history combine to form a very popular resort, highlighted by some of the cleanest beaches in the Mediterranean. The 630 km shoreline of the province is liberally scattered with ancient cities, harbours, memorial tombs and beaches, secluded coves and lush forests, many of which are easily accessible from the city. With its palm-lined boulevard, internationally-acclaimed marina, and old castle with traditional architecture, all set amidst a modern city, Antalya is a major tourist centre in Turkey. The main area of interest in the city is central old quarter within the Roman walls, known as Kaleici, and there are many good museums. In Antalya, the four seasons appear only on the calender, as there is no winter here.
The summers are hot and rainless while the other months are warm and occasionally rainy. The average temperature in October - November is about 18°C.

The conference program consists of Joint, Analytical and Veterinary Sessions. Abstracts will be accepted as either as oral or poster presentations.
- Admission Badges
All participants should wear the congress badge at all times during the congress, in the exhibit area and within other areas of the congress center and during social activities. Only participants wearing their congress badge will be admitted to the scientific sessions, to the exhibition and to the social events.
Accompanying persons must have a badge for admission to the exhibit area and to the social functions.
- Certificate of Attandance
Certificates of the conference attendance are available onsite at the registration desk
- Liability
In registering for the conference, participants agree that neither the Scientific Committee nor the Organizing Secretariat assumes any liability. Participants should therefore organize their own health and travel insurance.

Participants are requested to check with the Turkish Consulate in their home country or with their travel agency or at
http://www.e-konsolosluk.net/homepage.aspx for visa requirements. Entry visa to Turkey can also be obtained at the İstanbul or Antalya Airport for a number of countries.

Electricity is 220 Volt. Adapters for plugs may be necessary.
- Banking and Exchange facilities
Foreign money can be changed at banks during normal business days (09.00-17.00 Monday-Friday) as well as at hotels, at the airport and in exchange offices. Exchange rates are set daily by the Central Bank. All major credit cards are accepted in most hotels, restaurants and shops.
Automated bank machines are available at many points throughout the city and at the airport.
